• Question: how do you know when the worlds gonna end

      We do not know for sure, but there is an estimate that our Solar system may become a very inhospitable place for us (at least for us as we are now!) in the next ~5 billion years when the Sun is expected to become a Red Giant. SInce the Sun is expected to become brighter with age (about 10% gain every billion years) we have probably ~2-3 billion years before things get really, really bad on Earth.

      I won’t be alive when the sun eventually dies 🙂

      However, even if an asteroid crashed into the Earth, it would most likely kill most species if it was large enough, so our world might end, but other forms of life on earth would continue, and maybe you would evolve other human type lifeforms over time. So, we would know by people freaking out, twitter and facebook most likely as well as the news as people detected that asteroid coming towards us.
