  Yes, scientists are working on cloning or growing organs from stem cells. This would be extremely useful as firstly, we wouldn’t have a problem with people not donating their organs when they die, but also secondly, we would not have the problem of rejection following a organ transplant.

  I agree with John. I think cloning for this purpose is a good idea. It doesn’t involve cloning an actual person who will grow and develop, just an organ but it could have some really useful medical applications as John has described.
