• Question: do you think there will be any way of eventually stopping natural disasters?

      John Short answered on 22 Jun 2012:

      No, unfortunately the forces of nature are out of our control. We can reduce flooding though by having proper flood defences, but tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and volcanoes cannot be stopped.
