      If I understand your question – then a combination of all natural sciences represents a ‘study of Nature’ 🙂 Physics, Chemistry, Biology and certain areas of Mathematics are typically lumped into this category.

      On the other side, Ecology is a study of complex natural systems, and so often people refer to Ecology in the same context…
