If I knew (that is was personally and completely convinced) long enough in advance I would try to alert the authorities. Likely failing at that (police receives numerous daily calls from people who claim to predict earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and invasion of demonic rubber duckies from hell) I would do my best to prepare and convince friends/family that it might be a good time to move, or otherwise prepare (without having them call for a couple of calm and friendly men with straightjackets and sedatives).

With only a short-term notice my response would depend on what sort of natural disaster is impending. Survival scenarios are numerous and many of them are listed online (I leave it up to you to figure out if they make sense).

This depends on the natural disaster, but I would make sure I had a fully charged mobile phone including backup, in case electricity was cut off but mobile signals were still active. Supplies of water, and water purification tablets are a must, whilst stockpiling food is good too. Having first aid kits, a car, with spare petrol is good as well. I would try and coordinate with my neighbours/ co-workers or people around me to make sure we had supplies, could deal with injuries. A swiss army knife or multi-tool is useful too for food, opening cans, cutting rope, protecting yourself as well.
